Violet moved to Sugar Blossom to make a better life for her two children, and established Sunflower Farm as a permanent and happy home for her family. She is knowledgeable about everything that grows in the ground, and is more than willing to help out younger gardeners with vital tools and friendly advice.
Violet thanks Anna for watching Bloom the other day. But Bloom doesn't need someone holding his hand all the time, Anna says, because he's not a little kid anymore, and she thinks that Bloom is more responsible than either of them give him credit for. "When did you become so wise?" Violet asks. Her daughter says that it's because she has the best role model a girl could ask for. Violet jokingly asks Anna if the lack of sarcasm means she wants something. "Well," Anna replies, "now that you mention it, I was thinking of taking a couple days off next week . . ."
